SYNOPSIS

Joon-ha, a novelist in his early 40s writes about his experiences in the Vietnam war and becomes an overnight sensation. He signs a contract with a foreign publisher and goes to Thailand to translate the book. He takes his girlfriend, Ji-yeo, with him. Once they arrive in Thailand, Ji-yeo becomes more devoted to Joon-ha and lavishes him with attention. But all Joon-ha is interested is his work. Ji-yeo tries to get his attention by doing things she does not mean. At this time, Private Park, who is also characterized in the book, appears and tells Joon-ha news of his girlfriend back in Vietnam. Upon hearing the news, Joon-ha kills himself. Ji-yeo finally learns of Joon-ha＇s true feelings.
