SYNOPSIS

After a failed first marriage, Yun-hi is about to remarry but at her wedding , the new husband CEO Pak of pharmaceutical company, collapses due to high blood pressure and becomes a vegetable. Without a marriage license, Yun-hi suffers from solitude due to a strict family tradition. Her mother-in-law and sister-in-law blame Yun-hi for CEO Pak＇s condition. They strain her to the point that Yun-hi feels suffocated. CEO Pak＇s son, Wu-seob returns from his studies in America. Wu-seob tries to rescue Yun-hi by offering her his compassion but Yun-hi feels morally conflicted so she runs away. Wu-seob goes looking for her and confesses his love for her when he finds her. Feeling that he could be hurt because of her, Yun-hi attempts suicide in the guise of an accident.
