Lee Geum-ryong, the boss of a smuggling ring in the border region, has a lover who attempts to escape all the time, Kim So-yeong. Meanwhile, Jeon-tek, a man working for Lee Geum-ryong, has a crush on So-yeong and helps her escape from the lair one day. Lee Geum-ryong＇s men chase after the two and Jeon-tek succeeds in desperately fighting them off. He pulls through the bloody combat and crosses the border with So-yeong.
