Wither was made during a six week stay on an abandoned industrial area next to a highway, where cement used to be manufactured. The director set up his camera at a spot where all the elements that intensely influenced the character of this non-place and the time spent camping there could be seen all at once: The cement, the drastically changing weather and the water that accumulated in gigantic puddles. The resulting animation loop of over 10,000 photos is a trip through time and perception, lightly forewarning us of environmental changes to come.
