Rafael’s future depends on tonight＇s event. But the event cannot start without the banner. And the banner is not ready yet.

If Schettinimous, Terzano＇s previous short film, confined a character of improbable extravagance in the artificial microcosm of a TV studio, El banner seems -at first glance- its counterpart. Now we are in the recognizable Buenos Aires downtown, next to one of its endemic specimens: the seasoned office worker with a hurried pace who never stops talking on his cell phone despite his obvious agitation. A character exactly suited for Marcelo Subiotto, just as Schettinimous could only be Boy Olmi. The outcome of the modest (and at times hilarious) odyssey in which his Crivelli verifies the fatality of Murphy＇s laws and hears one too many times “I said something about Ukraine!” is the happy proof that Terzano knows very well how to impress us.
