Juana

In a society ruled by patriarchal control, nineteen-year-old Sophilia is expected to obey, marry, and conform. While discussing her puppet studies with her domineering parents, Pete and Caitlin, her secret lover Juana unexpectedly appears. Alarmed, Sophilia spirits Juana away under the pretence of continuing her studies. In the forest, far from watchful eyes, Sophilia confesses her fear of a life she does not want. Juana proposes a daring escape from the fate imposed upon her.
