This is a story about a sibling＇s love, and a unique gift one sister gives to another. Niranjana and Meenakshi are two sisters who live in a beautiful family with their parents, and their loving aunt and uncle. The aunt and uncle have no children of their own, so they dote on the two girls. The bond between the sisters is so strong that they don＇t feel the need for any other friends.

In school, Niranjana is an excellent artist, and her talent often helps the school win first place in art competitions. Meenakshi, though mischievous, is very bright and does well in her studies. Their teacher is very fond of both girls, and because of their good qualities, he often visits their home.

Thanks to their family＇s good values, the sisters grow up to be loving and helpful. Whenever something good happens at home, they make it a point to visit an orphanage, where they give out sweets and treats to the children. Niranjana＇s visits to the orphanage become more frequent, and she forms a special bond with one of the boys there. Despite initial objections from her family, she manages to win everyone over, and life seems to be running smoothly and happily.

But one day, the family＇s world turns dark because of one of Meenakshi＇s mischievous acts. An accident happens, so terrible that it causes Niranjana to lose her eyesight, shattering her entire life. Meenakshi feels immense guilt, but Niranjana consoles her, telling her it was an accident and not her fault.

Doctors tell the family that only God or a donor can restore Niranjana＇s sight, and they advise the family to keep looking for a donor. As the family tries to cope with the tragedy, they also begin to think about Meenakshi＇s marriage. They realize the girls are now grown up and feel they can＇t wait indefinitely for a donor for Niranjana. Perhaps that＇s why they decide to arrange Meenakshi＇s wedding. Meenakshi agrees, and she gets married to Sameer. Their married life is happy because Sameer is a good man. His father passed away when he was young, so it＇s just him, his mother, and now Meenakshi, who live together harmoniously.

One day, Meenakshi faints. Her mother-in-law is overjoyed, thinking it must be good news. Doctors order several tests, and indeed, good news arrives. But it＇s for Niranjana—a donor has been found! Niranjana is thrilled and wonders who the donor is. Meanwhile, Meenakshi is also ecstatic, thinking that her elder sister will finally get her sight back.

But will Niranjana truly regain her sight? Who is her donor? How will Meenakshi atone for her mistake, and what is the gift she has to give to Niranjana? This is the story of "Aher" (the gift)...
