Framed around a single night, Return to Vega follows Mick as she works the door of a nightclub and watches eccentric clubbers putter in and out of the club. When her shift ends she meets her girlfriend at a gay bar, and later has an encounter with a lonely stranger on the prowl. Return to Vega captures the intersections of contemporary urban life.
