Argentinian critic Roger Koza wanders through public and private spaces, where a series of encounters with both anonymous and renowned figures (including filmmakers Radu Jude and Paula Gaitán) unleashes a torrent of ideas about nature and cinema – and the nature of cinema itself. This marks Philipp Hartmann’s fourth film to screen at Olhar de Cinema, continuing his exploration of form through a sense of humor that is both deeply idiosyncratic and delightfully mundane. Born of his real-life friendship with Koza, their films are whimsical, unexpected meditations on nothing – and therefore, on everything.
