In the 12th century, at the age of 50, Hildegard von Bingen experiences, once again, a vision that tells her she must leave Disibodenberg. The image of a landscape different from the one she knows is revealed and captures her attention. She wonders if she should leave the monastery, her home for the last 42 years. She fears that if she leaves, the igneous light will stop illuminating her.
