Autism Plays Itself

In 1957 at the Maudsley Hospital in London, a film recording atypical behaviour of children was shot. Many years later, three adults in autism spectrum saw the film and added their commentary to it providing new interpretations for the puzzling behaviour of the children in the film. They brought in new, insightful explanations based on their own experiences from childhood and adulthood. Thanks to their observations, the film set in the 1950s acquired an audio commentary helping us to understand the scenes from the perspective of people to whom the footage applies.
