Lucas, a 9-year-old city boy, is afraid of death and tries to stay awake at all costs. To alleviate his anxiety, he follows his therapist＇s suggestion to go on a trip, along with his mother and new pet, to visit his grandfather＇s ranch. After arriving, Lucas discovers that his grandfather is actually the one who has been preparing to die.
