Adapted by the director together with Fanny Chesnel from her novel Le berceau, the script centres on Joseph who learns that his son and the latter’s partner have just died in an accident. They were expecting a child via a surrogate mother in Belgium. What will become of their future baby? Is Joseph its legitimate grandfather?
