16-year-old Jane has been nicknamed Gross and with good reason: she is tough and ruins all relationships around her, she has become like that after a head and leg injury. now she has a limp and does no longer see the world in rose. jane holds her best and now former friend prikhodko responsible for her injury and channels all her anger and cynicism at him. she comes down hard on everyone else as well – her parents, her elder brother, her friends and classmates. things change after she meets stanislav, a teacher at the robotics circle, who becomes her mentor. interacting with robots she learns how to communicate with people, sees the joy of life once more and most importantly regains her old friendship.
