Miho's Journey

Today, Miho Amari, who was born in Uenohara in Japan, lives in South Korea. Since she was a child, she has loved music and dreamed of becoming a singer. When she leaves her home for a new life, her journey as a singer and immigrant begins.

"I＇ve been a close friend of Miho Amari＇s for five years. Miho and I come from different countries but both of us have ended up living here doing the work that we wanted to do and mixing with the people we wanted to be with. Through Miho, a singer and a migrant, I want to show the path taken by migrants and the fact that they are no different from other people. As we follow Miho＇s journey, we discover that migrants do not make the decisions they make for one or two reasons only, for instance on economic grounds, rather, they are driven by countless motives. In this film, I hope to share with many people these ideas and concerns regarding the diversity of people who choose to emigrate for all sorts of reasons." Shekh Al Mamun
