home, sweet home

This video was made of found home-video footage. When I see the videos recorded during my childhood, I feel a sense of alienation, as if I were looking at the past of other people. These videos cut our memories into bits and pieces; are they recorded as fact or memorized as the truth? Thinking about the gap between fragmentary and one-sided records and the actual memories, I list some decomposed drawings of those unrecorded, negative sides as a complement. These blurred images and inarticulate voices might be seen as an expression of the discrepancy of my memories.
