The tragic story of the son of a Korean politician studing in the United States who runs his life by indulging in drugs and gambling. The story begins with a young man playing blackjack in a smoky casino in San Francisco. His name is Joon, The son of a defamed Korean ex-Politician, sent to the U.S. to further his studies, but instead wastes his time on frivolous activities. One day his mistress. Anna Lou, is murdered. As the prime suspect he is tailed by both the police and reporters. Woo-hee, a waitress in a downtown club, is attracted to the masculine charm and flamboyance of Joon. Her and Joon Share a compassion for each other＇s lives and become close. After Woo-hee has a hapless love affair she realizes Joon is really the love she has been looking for.
