SYNOPSIS

Unable to bear children, Yun So-sa, the madam of the noble family of Hong, is staying at a sorceress＇ house in the mountain valley where a number of sorcerers live. So-sa does her best while staying there. She ends up having relations with sorcerer Se-du. Meanwhile, her husband Tae-ho takes a second wife. But when she doesn＇t conceive, Tae-ho goes to see So-sa at the sorcerers＇ village and stays a night. Afterwards, So-sa gets pregnant and returns home but Tae-ho finds out that it is not his child. He calls Se-du and has him perform an exorcism to kick out evil spirits. But as the exorcism hits its climax, Se-du kills Tae-ho, revealing the truth about who the baby＇s father is. The matriarch of the family demands So-sa to kill herself after she has given birth. However, the servant girl Bun-ie persuades So-sa to leave with her baby.
