아가다

Agada is a nun who dreamed of becoming an artist. She gets word that her father is critically ill. After much conflict, Agada returns to secular life to care for her father. She returns to her hometown Wunchon. However, despite the nursing of Agada, Mrs. Jung, and the Catholic Father Da-du, her father passes away. Father Da-du falls ill and Agada takes care of him. Agada is torn by the guilt of living out in the secular world and her compassion for Father Da-du. She leaves Wunchon. As she wanders aimlessly, she runs into her old college classmate Hyun-wuk. Agada moves in with him and even gets pregnant. However, when Hyun-wuk＇s fiancee shows up, she leaves Hyun-wuk in a rush. Agada has her baby and focuses on her drawing. When Hyun-wuk shows up, she gives him their child and disappears. Mrs. Jung finds Agada in a mental institution and brings her back to normal.
