Smach.

Every two years, Michael Moling´s team puts on a unique art show in the Dolomites. As part of the SMACH. pro-ject, works by artists from all over the world are set up in high alpine terrain. The sculptures are designed especially for this purpose and blend into the spectacular landscape in a surreal way. Together, the artists live in a residence for a week and work on their installations. The focus is on two aspects: on the one hand, there is the very physical work of the artists on site, when ten sculptures are created, elaborately transported to the mountains and installed. On the other hand, the focus is on the struggle for recognition - both as part of Ladin culture and within the village community itself.
