Khrushchev thaw. The young poet Rami Garipov returns with his family to Ufa, having received his education at the Moscow Literary Institute. Senior colleagues have high hopes, but the unsettled life, the work rush deprive the poet of strength. The big test is the loss in the family. Rami convinces his wife to return with him to the poet＇s native village in order to make a decision there how to live on.
This is the final picture of Bulat Yusupov’s trilogy “The First Republic” is dedicated to the people’s poet of Bashkortostan, Rami Garipov.
