Uomini in Marcia

Gianni Loy is a former Labor Law professor but in his life he has been also a writer, a poet and a filmmaker. The memories of the battles of the workers of Sulcis-Iglesiente (a vast geographical area of South-Western Sardinia) take his mind back from the early 1900s up to the present day. Within that timeframe the mines, the protests, the closure of the factories, the trade unions, the development march, the redevelopment of an area, the environmental protection, intertwine in a story that gradually becomes unanimous. A story in which universal themes such as the right to employment become a joint vision through the faces, the voices, the colours, but also the pain and passion of men and women.
