After the death of my father, I try to learn more about the history of my grandfather, Captain Sirera, and his end, disappeared by firing squad at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War, forming part of the Casas Sala column.Following the investigations into these events, I begin a journey through time to the last places my grandfather saw.But, throughout that journey, I am becoming aware of the enormous difficulties -such as the very circumstances of that event and its direct consequences- that are added to those of the passage of time, in the reconstruction of the events and in overcoming the pain and trauma, personal and collective, that still persist today...Only the help of his personal memory and the awareness of his dignity as a person will allow me to maintain hope...
