SYNOPSIS: During the Paraguayan dictatorship, Carmen, a woman whose family belongs to the regime＇s party, discovers that girls were abused in a neighboring house, owned by a senior government official. The terror of a previously unknown reality haunts her. Carmen then embarks on a lonely journey, as her surroundings insist that she be silent. However, what she witnessed affects her to such a degree that she can no longer reconnect with the calm of her daily life - even in trivial situations, she relives the witnessed scene. Finally, Carmen decides to report the crime and ends up in prison, discovering the other side of the dictatorial regime.
