The Kid

Oh Hyun (19) is the cleanup hitter of the Busan High School baseball team, which is recognized nationwide, and is the best fighter in Busan. Hyun has friends from junior high who are very dear to him. They have a brotherly relationship, one that involves escapes from crises, near-death experiences, and intense crying sessions. The group split up as they entered high school, but each of them have become recognized in Busan as the best fighter in their respective school. However, this group of kids are not bullies who prey on the weaker students. They actually fought off Bukseong-hoe, a congregation of upper class bullies, and have protected their peers in the front line. One day, Hyun＇s friend JU Se-byeol is violently murdered by the Nampo-dong Gang, which is the largest criminal organization in Busan. Hyun and friends call the police on Se-byeol＇s murderer, but the police are indInternational Film Festivalerent due to their connection to the Nampo-dong Gang. The kids are dying to reveal the truth, but the police, the school, and the adults scold them instead of standing on their side. Furious, Hyun and the kids decide to take revenge on the Nampo-dong Gang with their own hands, and call for high school students in Busan and areas around the city. Now, the kids are trying to bring a new wave to Nampo-dong by confronting the Nampo-dong Gang head on.
