La scelta

A Valsusian risks his life in an attempt to oppose the expropriation of his land for the construction of the new Turin-Lyon railway line, TAV (Treno ad Alta Velocità). From his action a new phase of the struggle was born that the popular movement no TAV has been carrying out in Val di Susa for thirty years. His life and militant path coincides with that of many Valsusians, elderly and young militants, who continue, with strength, courage and joy, to oppose the realization of the worksite. But what do notavs really want? The documentary traces the events of the movement looking for the deep reasons that move their choices, their stories intertwine to bring out what they have discovered in the movement and above all in themselves, how the context, in which they grew up, in recent years has changed and, what makes them still determined to continue the resistance action despite the impossibility of winning on the field.
