Open Sky is a documentary about the construction of an individual＇s identity and the transformations throughout this process. By following the daily life of Andriele, a teenager born and raised in the rural area of Dom Pedrito, in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, visual artist Elisa Pessoa documents the changes, desires and motivations of the main character. Through a series of encounters, in which Andriele increasingly becomes the owner of herself, of her life, and of the narrative itself, the film reflects on the transformations of the landscape around Andriele, her family of small ranchers, her increasing need to find a place in the world, and the price of her choices.
