Three corrupt emeritus from the same small political party involved in a plot of sex, corruption and betrayal are the main characters of an agile, dreamlike plot that refers to the best achievements of Brazilian marginal cinema. Young director Luan Cardoso＇s first feature film, made on a low budget, was selected for the annual competition of the "Lisbon Cine Festival 2021" in Portugal and for the 5th Rio Fantastik Festival in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil and won the "Cramunhão" for BEST FILM, BEST DIRECTOR AND HONORABLE MENTION OF BEST ACTOR FOR VINICIUS FERREIRA and reveals Cardoso as a promising director who competently conducts the editing of this film with a "police gore" style and touches of fantastic realism. "Ménage" is a feature film that is very interested in the pathological dimension of toxic masculinity present in white-collar figures who are dragged election after election through the allowed political-party coalitions in Brazil. These strange figures that seem harmless at first, lead their public and private lives towards all the violence, addiction and sex that power allows in our soil, so the film besides allegorically showing a genealogy of the pre-impeachment scenario of 2016 that brought down the first female president of Brazil, put in the screen the trauma that is masculinity, the nightmare that this represents for society and even - amazingly - for those involved.
