During a torrid summer, a family is about to sell the land inherited by their late father, located in the interior of southern Portugal, in an area affected by drought and real estate speculation. The lives of three women depend on what will happen to the land, until a fire engulfs the region and, prevented from leaving, they will have to face the traumas of a common past and the uncertainties about the future.
