Paula lives with her father, who is recovering. At eleven years old, she is lonely, school is boring and she has only one friend: Achille. Summer arrives and the father decides to take his daughter to a small, pretty house by the lake. But summer passes, and they don＇t go back home. Their way of life becomes more and more harsh and difficult, espousing an ideal of education and teaching that becomes more extreme every day. Paula begins to rebel, under the loving but intensely suffocating eye of her father...
