A multicultural Copenhagen neighbourhood as seen through the eyes of the children who grow up there.

Wolfland is director Olivia Chamby-Rus＇ personal and poetic portrait of her own neighbourhood, the multicultural and infamous area around Blågårds Plads in Copenhagen. Over the course of three years she has managed to get a unique access to the children and teenagers of the area and to capture life from their perspective. Raised in Sweden with Polish parents and now living in Denmark the director is interested in what it is like growing up with several cultures - as these kids do. Dealing with themes like cultural differences, death, body and identity this documentary dives into childhood - as a state of mind, as a place and as a period of time. ＇Wolfland＇ is about childhood and the transition to adult life, about pushing boundaries, figuring out who you are, who you want to be, and finding your place in the world.
