During the Algerian War, 2,350,000 people were displaced by the French Army in the fight against the FLN. Forced to leave their homes, they were grouped in camps.
Returning to Mansourah, his native village, Malek, together with his daughter Dorothée-Myriam, gathers a historical memory that has until now remained hidden — one that most young people are unaware of, yet which caused unprecedented upheaval in rural Algeria.
