This collectively made short film tackles events from World War II, when, in 1943, the Australian government forcibly removed Indigenous peoples from their lands and confined them to a concentration camp. Critically engaging with archival footage and blending drama with satire in a unique experimental style, the film dramatizes the refusal of the Karrabing ancestors to be detained, crafting an alternative history where colonial power is overthrown by a collective uprising that drives the settlers out of the region.
