Hospitalized, young Lúcio is visited by Grandma Neusa, a kind old woman with magical little boxes that can transport children to fantastical worlds. In this sequel to Inside the Little Box saga, director Guilherme Reis takes his young protagonists to the wondrous Sertão of Memory. The children are welcomed with open arms into this forgotten realm of folk songs and cultural legends – but their arrival also awakens a longing among its inhabitants: the hope that they’ll stay inside the box forever. Will they manage to find their way back home?
