Bem Me Quer, Mal Me Quer

In the coastal town of Paranaguá, the director takes her mother back to revisit the territory of her childhood, now older and more mature in the face of her traumas. A childhood marked by playful moments, but also by an event that would radically change her life. Blending documentary and reenactments of situations that are hard to revisit, the film creates healing strategies between mother and daughter, but more importantly, between individuals from different generations who share the common experience of living against the grain in a patriarchal and violent society.
