As the floodwaters in Rio Grande do Sul recede, the memories of countless lives emerge, bringing with them the certainty that nothing will ever be the same. A small crew of audiovisual technicians from the region, some also affected by the tragedy, sets out in search of stories and memories from “after the end.” They arrive at Fisherman’s Street, No. 6, and find a riverside community deeply impacted by the floods, striving to reaffirm their essence, sense of belonging, and love for this island now blanketed in sand.
