20 years ago, Tova met an aspiring actor called Russ in Hollywood. Herself a would-be director they quickly formed a bond. He practiced lines to get more parts and she honed her directorial skills with a video camera. Over the years the two kept shooting together, unknowingly documenting both of their lives, or the lives they would like to live through small scenes and in-between discussions. So years later, a film which was never meant to be had already been shot. A film about the importance of fantasy in the face of social conventions and what true freedom really is.
