Maxim, a professional balalaika player, secures a job on a cruise liner, which soon shipwrecks. He becomes the sole survivor, washed ashore on an uninhabited island with only a bar counter full of alcohol. Over many months, alcohol substitutes water and food for Maxim. Unsurprisingly, after a few months, Maxim starts talking to a skull. Some time later, their company is joined by a talking shark named Belka. Six months later, Maxim＇s fiancée, Masha, arrives at the island from snowy Yaroslavl.
