A man on the run on a mountain lost in time.

It＇s a frightening night that plagues the mountains where Maria and Cristina live. Estevão wears a religious robe and his head bleeds violently. He struggles against nature＇s aggressiveness, but falls, collapsing. Maria and Cristina find and drag him inside the house in their eagerness to save the foreigner. They spend days taking care of him with herbal teas and baths. They are anxious with the presence of the stranger who, little by little, reveals disturbing layers of his story: a monk considered a heretic by the monastery that excluded and condemned him to be stoned to death. The monk＇s report is received with strangeness by the women and it is not known to what extent the truth of their testimonies correspond to the facts. At the same time, dark similarities between the stories of the three emerge. Maria and Cristina also suffered violent exclusion from the world in which they lived when Maria was accused of adultery. The dubious meeting of truths exposed by the trio reveals an atmosphere of tension and suspense as if the past was hiding something deeper and more painful. And as the past and present begin to collide, has the story come to an end or is it about to embark on a new beginning?
