Prompted by Ora Clementi and curatorial duo Anorak (Berlin) to create a film that considers ＇the emotive force of utopias＇, The Last Seaport of Limerence imagines a sea port that sits liminally between hope and uncertainty. The piece utilises Woodnutt’s previous films and her previously unused film negatives; in doing so a mysterious new ‘topia is found at the sea’s edge.
