Pigeon & Sparrow

Wei-An, who suffers from severe insomnia, often hears something tapping on the iron window late at night. He dresses in a peculiar purple suit, behaving oddly, but his mother is unfazed. The two live under the same roof, only interacting when they exchange their dilapidated scooter as she returns from work. Wei-An is convinced that the noise is caused by pigeons and asks his mother to buy bird repellent, but she brings home a rat trap instead. Riding the old scooter, he speeds off only for it to break down again. Inspecting it, he finds bird droppings on the body. On an overpass, Wei-An walks barefoot, not knowing how far he has gone, with no sight of his scooter. He stops, removes his suit, and continues his journey back home…
