A sudden flashback takes us to a pinewood in Civitavecchia in 1976, in front of a pale blu farmhouse, the home of Leo Amici. A child called Stefano is playing outside and discovers the face＇s man with a turban carved in the bark of a tree. Leo tells him the man’s name and the discovery of an apocryphal gospel tells us about this man and recounts the events…

In the summer 2023, the re-staging of Carlo Tedeschi’s musical about this man forms the backdrop for the true stories of some young professionals and students of the theatrical company who find themselves facing doubts, fears, conflicts and arguments… The power of honesty and integrity as well as the beauty, art and love transmitted by Leo gives us the strength to face all difficulties. These are the pillars on which he founded the Piccolo paese fuori dal mondo (The little village outside the world) in the province of Rimini, where the action takes place.
