A businessman is building a new real estate boom in a desert area when three workers discover a fracture in the earth of unknown origin. At the same time, a couple thinking about the latest Nike sneakers, a marquise who refuses to buy lottery tickets, a man who eats pine nuts and a fan of Tolstoy cross paths in the bar next to the construction site. All of them, and a trainee geologist, will end up gathered around this fault that will definitively change the course of the capitalist system.
