The Stars Hunters

Giorgio Tomelleri, known as “The Indiana Jones of meteorites”, and his wife Lina, have been driving their jeep thousands of miles in deserts around the world for more than 30 years. In their explorations they go in search of something very ancient that has come from space; meteorites. Fragments of asteroids that traveled for millions of years before falling to our planet. Their love affair between heaven and earth sees a final expedition to the Sahara Desert, with the goal of bringing home fragments from Mars and the Moon - the rarest and most precious meteorites there are. ESA (the European Space Agency) learns of their incredible achievements and recruits them, to help with the training of astronauts for upcoming missions.
