Fratelli di culla recounts some of the most significant stories experienced by the thousands of little guests who lived in the Brefotrophy of Bari, children abandoned at birth by mothers in difficulty, assisted by a supportive female universe that has welcomed them in 60 years of activity: washerwomen, cooks, nannies, educators, nuns, kindergarten teachers, social workers. It is a story of abandonment, care, adoptions, discoveries and testimonies of those who, in different ways, have left something of themselves in that yellow building, and cannot forget.
