Aiming High - A Race Against the Limits

The dream was about to become reality: establishing a new downhill classic at the base of the Matterhorn at the beginning of the season in November – and promoting the ski resort Zermatt as a result. Sponsors, athletes and fans were ready, but the weather did not play its part. The documentary is up close and personal with the protagonists, from 5 a.m. when the organizers around Max Julen drank their first coffee to the moment of the bitter cancellation. A gripping reflection on the relationship between sports, tourism and climate change, where ski stars like Marco Odermatt and Lara Gut-Behrami also take the floor.
