Semyon returns from Moscow to his hometown Buy, which he has not been to since his time in the army: he went to serve and did not return, although his girlfriend Lena was waiting for him in the city. His father＇s serious illness forces Semyon to return home and relive the events of those distant years. Semyon is looking for a way out of his midlife crisis, wants to escape from the matrix of his "plastic" life in the capital - and a meeting with young Maya, Lena＇s daughter, gives him hope for a new life.
