Upon arriving in Pernambuco, Northeast of Brazil, Mika (25), a young middle-class girl from Rio de Janeiro, gets close to an outsider group who lives luxuriously. As time goes by, Mika finds herself hiding her latent prejudices, which makes her develop a constant feeling of fear that transforms a true friendship between them into a nightmare.
