On December 12, 1977, twenty-two-year-old student Javier Fernández Quesada was shot dead on the steps of the University of La Laguna, in Tenerife (Spain), after the Civil Guard entered the Campus shooting to quell a demonstration. After the investigation and a commission of inquiry in the Congress of Deputies, the case was archived and no one was ever blamed. After more than forty years, the family still does not know who killed their son.
