HOMELESSNESS IN LONDON, ONTARIO

With low housing supply, unsustainable rent prices and a lack of social assistance, the homelessness problem has worsened coming out of the pandemic. Homelessness in London showcases the story of London, Ontario＇s homelessness crisis, as told by various London, Ontario community members.

Directors Lucas Arender and Madeleine McColl were Western University Students who lived in London for four years while completing their degrees. The directors hope that Homelessness in London will break what people call “The Western Bubble” and encourage students and community members alike to learn more about the situation and how they can help.

This is the story of the crisis, how it came to be and what’s next for a city desperate for a solution.
